We pray your children may see through the distractions of life to find themselves at peace, where hope may be kindled and the possibility of joy renewed. For those who live in fear and under threat, may they receive the blessing of hope for new ways of living. We pray peace those who see no alternative to violence. We pray the blessings for those who can only dream of safety and comfort, may they see their dreams become a joyful reality. We pray for the Uniting Church in Australia: for Deidre our President. For Simon our Moderator. For Fiona and Graham our Presbytery ministers, for all the saints in this place, we ask the granting of resilience to maintain the work of our callings with love and energy. For our community and those who survive at its margins, may those we have encountered this last week share the love we bear for them, and in the week ahead to those with whom we speak, may the light of your love bring hope, peace and joy into their lives. May we live knowing that all creation is called into your love. Amen THE LORD’S PRAYER Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. Save us from the time of trial and deliver us from evil. For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours now and for ever. Amen.
