Serving Mosman since 1877
Dear fellow-members of the congregation at Mosman Uniting Church,
On Thursday the Church Council took the decision to suspend public worship
in the church building until further notice.
This decision is in agreement with a strong recommendation from the NSW
Synod of the Uniting Church.
We know many will want to continue worshipping, and as far as possible for the
church’s worship to continue in a way that brings us together under God,
though not in each other’s presence.
So our church will try to provide each of you with an alternative form of
worship, as close as possible to our regular service. You will also be provided
with music, in which you can join. Please confirm your current email address,
phone number and let us know if you are aware of any member of the
congregation who is without access to the internet.
Unfortunately the decision came too late for this to be provided for the service
on this coming Sunday (22
nd
March). You will receive it in time for the service on
Sunday 29th March.
The faith of Christians has withstood adversity in all times, and we pray for
God’s protection and an end to the suffering caused by the present epidemic.
